Leif B,
Go to Tools, then internet options. Then go to the security tab and then click on custom level. Make sure its set to medium. Also, in the settings.....disable all active X controls and plugins.

Maximus, it could be that you have a corrupted registry. You might want to run scandisk and see if it corrects any errors. You should also try and clean the HDD. When there is a lot of dust in the hard disk drive, error will occur. What type of computer do you have?

jfloresbcs, try and borrow someone else's wireless card and see if it works on your computer. If it does, then the wireless card is the problem. If it still doesnt work, then your PC card port is damaged and you might need to have a tech look at it. There are times that a laptop's Card slot gets damaged and it interferes with the functionality of the wireless card.

dmsous, go to this microsoft support link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314493/ It will require some registry tweaking, but it gives you step by step directions on how to change your screensaver on the logon screen.

Future Resident, I agree with you. It is pretty ironic that they came up with the new PC express slot, but nothing is compatible with it because its still new! Hopefully they will come up with that soon.

Paris Hilton, thats a good question! That is why I usually use my handy cut and paste method for those types of questions. Mostly newbies of this site who are not aware of how to look for past similar questions post those types of questions, so I usually try and tolerate them since I have a lot of patience lol

For the past few weeks this has been happening. It's annoying and it happens in both IE6 and IE7. Basically everything flash related is selectable like a hyper link. When yo ugo to click a help box appears and says "Click here to activate this ActiveX control." I know what activeX is but I'm know sure where it was a ptach or something from M$ that makes it so every flash has to be approved or something. It's quite bothersome. Any ideas?

Tried that at home as well, and still not effect.
To show you an example I go to http://www.gregbehrendt.com/news.php (great comedian) It'll show where each seperate flash is. And to correct what I said earlier specifically it says "click to activate and use this control"

I have an HP zv6270us it's not the most powerful thing but not many boards out there have a 2000mhz a front side bus. The only negative to the whole system is the on board video, it's bargin basement(Radeon x200). I know it's possible to make an external PCI card slot using the PCI Express slot, so why hasn't anyone done this yet so I can buy one? The hardest part would be writing drivers and software, as all the hardware exist it just needs to be soldered together. I'd deal with another little box on my desk if I could have better graphics.

an undemanding restart will fix it, or load in safemode and shutdown restart. If that would not artwork it sounds like your pictures card may be lifeless. besides the undeniable fact that i'm susceptible now to not believe that because its operating. try a straightforward restart, and once you load up abode windows try your recommendations back. to load in safemode at the same time as your computing gadget is booting up merely hit F8 again and again after the bios stuff occurs. p.c.. safemode, opt for certain to the alternative reveal screen and then commence->shutdown then if all is going nicely your reliable. at the same time as a sport crashes its many times a video driving force situation, or video ram situation. yet direct x and your soundcard can aspect in aswell.
