I think social services is a joke. These people get payed to take kids out fo there homes. Well dont get me wrong most kids need badly to be taken out of there abusive enviroments. But I got taken away from my mom because my dad made up a stupid lie. Social Services didnt do all they were soppuse to do and didnt talk to many people and see the true story. But I thank those assholes who ruined my life. Do you no how hard it is to grow up without a mom, because someone lied. Its the worst thing because there was no reason for it to happen. What do u think?

They get paid to do their jobs. And for the most part, when a child is taken of their home, there is a valid legal reason.

What happened to you may have been wrong. But that custody issue was decided by a family court judge.

If you don't like what they're doing, change the laws. Rewrite the system. But don't blame the people on the ground who are trying to act in the best interets of the children, and following the laws that are written.

I think the CONCEPT of Child Services is a good idea, but unfortunately it's rife with misappropriations and zero follow-up.
I'm sorry for what happened to you, It's a terrible shame.

There really needs to be major reform to all states' Child Services departments. There needs to be better oversight and follow-up, as well as better research of complaints..so that what happened to you doesn't happen to more kids.
Maybe that would be a good goal for you to work towards!
Make it your mission in life to try to make those necessary changes.
Everyone needs a direction in life. You're was totally messed up by a corrupt and terribly run system. Work to fix it!

I have a friend that does psychological evaluations for social services. He says many times when he recommends that a child should stay with his or her parents, the child is taken away, and he's seen many left in abusive households where their lives were threatened daily.

In the state where I live, a number of children have been killed because they got left with their families when they shouldn't have been; by the same token, I've known people who grew up in foster homes that were much worse than their birth homes.

I think I may agree with you.

Forgive and help others in your situation.
Pray for healing because you can make something of yourself
and become someone wonderful despite the joke of the Human services.
Dont let them control you or make you less than.

You have nothing to prove by anger and revenge it is the Lord's let him
have it so you can move on and do what you need to to help others and
become a good person.

I can relate growing up without a mom only mine Left on her own. You can't go back and change what happend in the past. What you can do is make a life with your mother now. I recently got teh chance to have my mom back she wanted to see me. It was hard seeing her knowing she walked out on me and dad but, I'm doing my best to work past that and make a life with her. You only get one mom. Take the time to enjoy being with her and let teh past be just that the past. Good luck and I hope things work out well for you.
