well I think that gas will hit a high of $5 a gallon next year.... you will reflect and say I wish gas was $3.45 a gallon

In your details I think you stated the root of the problem - all prices go up, and this really isn't horrible considering the price you quoted was twenty years ago. I think everyone is upset because the price is high when we're used to it being low for so long. All the rest is conspiracy theory and frustration. I'm not thrilled that it takes 50 bucks instead of 25 to fill my gas tank, but I'm not looking for someone to blame unjustly.

As a Home Health nurse, the $2.94 a gallon is really putting a cramp on me... Don't you just love Bush and his oil buddies?

It's all about BUSH. You know he has ties to the oil business. Some one is getting rich at the working Americans expense. Kuwait just gave all their citizens X amount of money from excess profits of oil sales. Need I say more?

I hope it stays that way and forces people to be more conservative and buy more economical cars and trucks.Lets get the pigs off the road.I look forward to buying hydrogen for my car in the near future.

they suck too much turmoil in the largest oil producing areas if you owned an oil well you would love it

I don't pay for the gas but I don't like the complaining from other ppl who do pay for it.

i really don't care. my dad has a gas card, so when he need's gas it's free
