Here's my reason for this suggestion. In 1972 John Waters' Pink Flamingos came out in theatres. It's a thoroughly gross film and I can't imagine a nice lady like you has ever seen the movie. However, Divine is the name of the lead character in the film and the actor who plays her. It’s the perfect name for your daughter's flamingo because only the truly hip or clever will make a connection between your child's stuffed toy and the film. Don't worry; no one will hold it against you. And those who ask why you named the flamingo Divine--well, you can tell them that you named it after the lead character in a thoroughly disgusting movie or you can make up whatever story you want. But only you and those you tell will know the truth, so you can laugh at people who don't get it. Incidentally, I provided links to the film on imdb.com and Rotten Tomatoes, and I've also added a review by Roger Ebert. Cheers!

Ahhh a girl? this is too easy her name should be Ilene (I lean) The punchline to the joke "What do you call a girl with one leg shorter than the other?" With the Flamingo bending their legs backwards and most of the time supporting theirselves on one it seems the natuarl name. :o)
