I'm 10 weeks along, have gained 5 pounds, putting me at 122 lbs. but I'm eating like a COW! I'm not craving anything, but everything is appealing to me! I'm eating when I'm not hungry, and I'm eating all through out the day. I mean, today I've had a BIG bowl of ceral, a piece of toast, a banana, a bowl of pineapple, 1 1/2 tomatoes, 3 handfulls of wheat thins, a bowl of speghetti, 12 potato chips, and 2 pieces of banana nut bread... and its not even dinner time! Im sleepy bc I'm eating so much... but other than that I have NO symptoms. Is this normal?!?

You're not sleepy from eating so much. You're sleepy because you're growing a baby, which is HARD WORK. Your body is working as hard right now as if you were climbing a mountain or running a marathon. That's why you are so hungry and so tired. Very normal. Being exhausted was my first clue that I was expecting #3.

Looking at your list of foods, I'd suggest that you try to find some ways to get more protein in your diet. This may help you have more energy. Eating protein foods can also help keep morning sickness at bay for some women. It might be a good idea to keep a journal of what you're eating for a week or two so you can see if you are shortchanging any food groups. Right now it looks like you're living on fruits and grains.

Wow, some people have all the luck LOL
Be glad you can eat, some women like me, had morning sickness for the first 3 and 4 months f pregnancy and didnt start really eating until later in the pregnancy, other have been sick all 9 months.

So far it seems like your making decent food choices, Add a bit more protien to help you stay fuller a bit longer, and perhaps add in a glass of milk for a snack instad of the chips next time?
Cereal is good, you need the folic acid in it to help prevent birth defects.

Your tired because your body has been kicked in turbo mode with making a baby, relax, take a nap if you must, you need the energy.
My doctor told me that your body has done the same thing as climbing Mount Everest in the first trimester.

Relax, enjoy, and congratulations!

Sometimes it is difficult when you are pregnant to stop yourself, so make healthy choices. Keep fruit, celery sticks, carrots and stuff like that available. It will good for the baby. Most of your choices above were good, but too much bread and pasta will add the weight fast. Try adding some lean white meat too. Drink more water, that will keep you feeling full. Also, keep your mind busy with planning the nursery and the arrival. Staying busy will take your mind off of the foods that are appealing to you.

You may be eating more than usual but at least the food you are eating seems to be healthy. Your body is working ver hard at the moment and your hormones are out of balance, so I wouldnt think you have anything to worry about. But if you are concerned speak to your doctor. Towards the end of your second trimester you should be eating an extra 200 calories per day.
Congratulations

Number one, fatigue is normal for the early stages of pregnancy...with both my boys I slept alot in the first trimester and my doc told me it's completely normal. Number two grazing is normal. The first trimester is the most important, and your body knows what you and the baby need. It sounds like you're not eating alot of fatty foods which is good. Don't worry about it. You're body is going through alot of changes right now...some may seem abnormal, but as long as you aren't craving paint chips you're fine lol.

no remember how some distance alongside you're you do not consume for 2. You slightly want approximately 500 extra energy than you mandatory till now you got pregnant putting you approximately 2500 energy an afternoon provide or take. human beings generally think of you need to consume for 2 regardless of if it rather is not actual till you desire to learn a lot of weight which would be extra durable for you to lose after the toddler is born.

its super normal. try to watch the carbs a little and eat high protein snacks that will make you feel more satisfied or you'll be struggling to lose the weight after. you're going to be sleepy as well, thats probably not from eating so much, but because it takes a lot of energy to build a baby.

you have to pace yourself when it comes to eating, don't eat just to eat, i did that at the beginning and regretted it big time. your sleepy because your body is having a tough time adjusting to the way you are eating.
