The best thing to do with an 80 y/o who has absolutely no knowledge of the internet, is to get a good written article, give it to the person and let them read and absorb the information. Trying to explain this to any age would be difficult, unless they are truly interested and want the added knowledge.

You might as well not even try.I have tried to explain it to my 82 year old grandmother and she just gets lost and confused then I would have to start over again.It's just not worth getting them that confused.
