That's ridiculous. I bet they'd be upset with you if you stayed on disability. Well, unless they are the kind of people who believe in money-for-nothing and think if you can get away with sitting on your backside all day then you should do. I would have thought people would admire you for choosing to go back to work.(Well unless they are concerned about your health or that you won't be able to do the job so well)

Perhaps it makes them feel bad if they're on disability and capable of going back to work but are too sorry to do so. I think you made a GREAT decision, and you should be proud of yourself.

Are they family members ? maybe they are worried about your health but end of the day good luck in job hunting if its to much for you at least you tryed.
My aunt was similar she is on incapacity but wanted to get out to work her condition was eczema but very severe in winter its calm so working was OK but come summer its very bad she can hardly move her hands her feet are covered making walking so sore and her face is so red and chapped so she had to stop and go back on benefits its upset her going back but she is trying new ventures where she can try doing something in her own time and her own conditions but its hard finding or doing something. her latest is what can i sell on ebay.
Keep your chin up and so what to others you are trying to put you off ,my aunt will probably look for something again in sept and quit in spring .

Because they're idiots! They probably want you to rely on them for everything and now you're going back to work, they can't say 'look at me, I'm so brilliant, I'm looking after this disabled person'. Could be that.

because they have nothing to moan about. How selfish of you to come off disability and get yourself a job !!. Unthinkable. Then again, are you pushing yourself and your loved ones are worried?.

Hope you like the job though.

WHAT YOU WANT TO PROVE DISABILITY DON'T STOP PEOPLE FROM BEING A PRODUCTIVE MEMBER OF SOCIETY (well done to you) REMEMBER THE REST ARE WORK SHY MEMBERS OF SHIRKERS UTOPIA. IGNORE THEM AND GET ON AND ENJOY YOU DESERVE ALL THE SUPPORT YOU WANT GOOD LUCK TO YOU.
IF YOU WORK YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR MEMBERSHIP OF THAT SECRET SOCIETY OR LAZY SHIRKERS AND THEY ARE SCARED YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL I'VE BEEN THERE

I think it's a great decision!

The people around you are upset because they are jealous.

Good for you, for getting your stuff together!

And welcome to the land of the living! Hope you have a happy ride!
