What is their quality level? I just read in one of my motorcycle magazines that they are a good bike, but they are heavier than Japanese bikes and don't have enough price difference to make them a better buy than the big name brands. If anyone owns one, please tell me what model and your overall experience with it so far. I have a chance to pick one up for a pretty good price from a friend who laid one down and scratched it up pretty good. Any sincere input would really be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

They are a budget bike. They model themselves on Honda mainly - for example, the C90 CUB, but you are not told that they only do 40 miles per hour - which is a lot less than the original CUB. They appear to be quite well built, but they are like a "copy" of an original. We looked at them at the Birmingham Motorcycle Show. The sellers were sincere, but we did not buy any! Just did not feel right.

DO NOT and I repeat, DO NOT waste your money. I know that these bikes are made in Korea, and the reliability facvtor, and the possibility to buy parts for this bike are nonexistant.
sure you may want to run out and but one now, because the price is cheaper than that of the current japanese models, but remember one thing, you get what you pay for.
I had a friend buy one of these Hyosung model bikes for his kid, he was worried that if he spent too much money on a machine for his kid, he would outgrow it too soon, then he would be stuck with a smaller bike, and no use for it. That bike lasted 2 rides before it broke. He said to me last night that he wished he had bought a Honda instead.
just thought i would warn you first......

My only experience with these machines is a test ride on the GV650. I cannot say anything about the reliability but as far as the ride quality it was pretty good. It was well put together and handled as good as any midsized cruiser.

Wow bulldog, pretty ironic that you would call someone else trailer trash; you ever look in the mirror there buddy?

In answer to the question, I don't think they're very reliable, but that doesn't mean we need to turn into racist backwater idiots. Dear lord.
