He was a "nelephant" from my childhood years. Has anyone else read the books and are they still available?

yes Mumfie was a neliphant, with his best friend scarecrow and panky the mouse, and they visited mumfies uncle Samuel E Phant who lived in the beached bot turned house and there was also an evil witch who wanted to snare mumfie and take away his politeness and nicety, the books were originally written by Katherine tozer in the 1930's
There were 52 10 minute episodes and these were shown between 1975 - 1978

GOSH FLASH BACK, I LOVED THAT LITTLE ELEPHANT, I SWEAR IVE GOT A COUPLE OF HIS BOOKS IN THE LOFT STILL, TRY EBAY THOUGH IF YOU WANT TO BUY ONE.
