Hey, I have never bought anything from there, but I think there advertising is really artisic. I hope they come out with a book of all their shots. Do you agree or disagree?

yeh i agree i think its awesome, especially that a lot of it is bordering on soft-core porn LOL
we have one of their stores here in SF and ive been in it, its pretty lame stuff but the advertisement IS cool.

I was watching a news show last month (I think it was Dateline or Primetime) about American Apparel. Apparently the owner of the company is a complete sexually charged freak. He even wears just underwear around work, flirts, and even sleeps with his staff. He has several sexual harassment charges against him and he uses lots of sex in his advertisements. After seeing this show, I conclude that their advertising, although seems artistic to some, is plain sexual and that's it.
And don't expect the company to be around in the future if the owner loses his money dealing with all of these lawsuits.

it kinda reminds me of kiddie porn sometimes, but i do appreciate some of the shots.
it must be somewhat ineffective if you haven't been moved to buy their stuff.
