Reading one man's opinion does not always make it fact. If you are going based on what you see and hear without researching then you don't have proof.

It's a simple equation.

If someone can hold up, show, present, or display something verifiable. That's evidence, and they have met their burden of proof.

If they can't, then it doesn't matter whether they have proof or not. If they don't show it, it doesn't count for anything.
