How can i find out if i have antique wine glasses?

This sounds dumb, but my sister in law gave me a set of 4 glasses she attributes to her grandmothers set and are "very valuable" She doesnt really like me and my husband says he has never seen them before. Therefore, I guess I am trying to catch her in a lie. How do I find out?

Take them to an antique dealer and ask what they would give you for them. Then say you are going to try another dealer for another opinion. If they are worth anything good the 1st dealer will up his offer.
