The 1st time I got it done they did. But that was like almost 6 years ago. But the 2 other times I got it done they didn't. It was like a corkscrew thing that holds the stud in your nose. It's better W/out the back on it. That hurts when your blowing your nose and it just feels weird!

**yes** special nose rings are made so you dont have to have a back on it... i have one with a back so i just pull my nostril up, look into a mirror, take my index finger and thumb to hold the back and i snap it on

nah usually the part that goes inside your nose resembles a 'C' or a little curlie q and you twist it onto your nose so it stays
