My last garbage disposal was stuck in there pretty darn tight. I ended up having to hit it with a rubber mallet. Mine had an outflow pipe that went into the dishwasher drain, and that was the only place I could hit it to make it turn in the proper direction so it would loosen up. Good luck -- mine was a pain in the @$$!

Need to remove the disposal motor first. This should be a rather coarse thread. Use an allen key to hook in the collar, turn counter clockwise (from the bottom). Then you can remove the motor and remove the drain like normal.

Under the sink there are two triangular brackets and one round bracket. The round bracket is what holds the disposal in place when it is rotated and locked.

To remove the disposal, rotate the round bracket counterclockwise and it will free the disposal from the triangular bracket. Once the disposal is free, you will be able to unscrew the triangular bracket.
