-Start with a good mascara. A good mascara does not require pumping the wand or having to keep reloading the brush. It also should not leave clumps.
-Start by applying a little bit of loose powder under your eyes. This helps to remove any mascara that may smear when applying to your lower lashes, without messing up any eyeliner/shadow liner or concealer.
-Start with your top lashes. Tilt your head back while applying. This helps to keep your mascara, after applied, from messing up your eye color. Start at the lash line, and sweep to the tips.
-Apply to lower lashes last, in a sweeping motion (side to side). You don't want to much mascara on your lower lashes.
-When your done, use a Q-tip to remove any mascara that may have smudged.
-If you require more mascara, always let the first coat dry.

Mary Kay has a great mascara. I have samples. If you want one, e-mail me and let me know what samples you need.

I find the best way to put on mascara is to start with the brush at the very base of your lashes, and as you pull the brush over the lashes, gently wiggle it back and forth. I wish I could draw you a diagram, but as you're pulling up you should be gently zig-zagging the brush left and right, just enough to wiggle around the lashes in the brush. After you do this, your lashes will be well-coated and clump-free, so you don't need another coat of mascara! Perfect!

This is really the best way, I do it all the time and I NEVER have clumpy lashes, I just hope I explained it well enough!

Start at the bottom of your lashes and work your way up. Begin with the outer lashes and end with the inner ones. While working your way up wiggle the wand a little to give the lashes a fuller look.

Apply with light brush strokes to keep it from clumping. Build more mascara on your outer lashes to make your eyes pop.
