I really want to buy this phone on ebay and it says that it will work will T-Mobile but sellers will say anything to get someone to buy their product. Most of these people have GOOD feedback as in 99% or 100%. However, I dont want to ask every one of their customers if their with T-Mobile and if it works fine and blah blah. And if it does work, will it work just like a normal phone (will it still have the same features)

So, does the L6 work with T-Mobile?

It is my pleasure to answer a question that "danuitti" has already answered.

Go to the auction, click on ASK SELLER A QUESTION, and then ask him if it is compatible with T-mobile. Normally the seller has to list in his auction which phone service provider is compatible with that phone.

Or you can just contact T-mobile and ask them directly. Go to http://www.t-mobile.com/Contact.aspx?WT.srch=2&Result_Inq=promo&InqSource=TMO and ask them. They should respond within 24 hours.

If the seller does not say T-Mobile, it probably won't work with T-Mobile.

You see, most phones are customized for the phone service, AND, they would also charge you a very high activation fee. Some of the services might not work either... so Text Messaging or Internet might not work. You might not be able to download any ringtones or other features.

So buy the phone from T-Mobile. It is just much less of a hassle.

Good luck

Yes, the Motorola SLVR L6 will work with T-Mobile service. The L6 operates on GSM 900/1800/1900MHz. T-Mobile's operating frequency in the US is 1900MHz, so because the phone possesses at least one of the operating frequencies of the network, you will be able to use it.
Additional Information: The GSM 900/1800MHz frequencies only work in other continents aside from North America. Another frequency which US carriers use is 850Mhz, which can be added to this specific phone via a software change.

First you have to find out if the phone is unlocked or not....If it is then all you have to do is put your T-mobile SIM card in it and you ready to go....Trust me I have 4 phones that I can use for Cingular and T-mobile without a problem...the only thing is you will have to get the t-zones internet settings sent to your phone but you can do that from T-mobile website, just search for the WAP Configurator...
