I'm not sure what you are making it from - but I can't imagine any materials that would be safe for a child this age - especially since they put everything in their mouths and tend to suck on their hands and wrists..

No - infants shouldn't wear jewelry! What if it comes off the baby eats it? Are there beads on it? Very dangerous! Babies don't need jewelry - they're perfect without the bling!
