I stopped taking the pill in May, had a period in June and since then absolutely nothing. Im not pregnant, but for the last 4 weeks Ive had a constant cramping pain around the area where the ovaries are, its kind of like a cramp you have when your period starts?

ANy suggestions as to what it could be?

Whenever you are experiencing unrelieved pain like this you need to go to an urgent care center or you physician. Wake up you are endangering your life when you don't care for yourself at times llike this who cares what anyone here thinks it could be. I can think of a dozen things, but don't waste time just go to the doctor! You are a valuable human being created for a purpose on this earth .Value yourself, please.

Are you positive that you are not pregnant?? If so, you need to see a doc and get checked out. Your period takes a while to get back to norm after quitting the pill and everyones body is different. But as far as having pain there, you need to seek medical advice. I had cramps like those my first month of pregnancy and would advise being checked out by an OB. Remember that taking the pill does not mean that it is impossible to get pregnant. My first pregnancy happened while I was on the pill. Go see a doctor as soon as you can and Good Luck....

If you are not pregnant then my best guess is you have an ovarian cyst. They hurt really badly(I know from experience) and they feel a little bit like really bad cramps. I think you should see a doctor so they can do an ultra sound or a ct scan. Good luck!

I think that sometimes after you stop taking the pill, it takes a few months for you period to return to normal. You may want to go the the gynocologist, just in case.

You need to go back to your GYN doctor. I was having a similar problem but my problem was due to the Pill.
