Does DVD recorder can recorder Closed Caption ?

My CITEZEN dvd recorder can not record CLOSED CAPTION ,the model is C801DVR. Do you happen to know if my operation is wrong? I have done this: setup up-->Init Setup --->general setup page--> caption : ON
IT doesn't work.

Your help will be a great appreciated.

Try using the close captioned feature on your TV and see if that does anything.
