Zidane is approximately 13 years older than C.R. How can anyone compare the two in professional terms? A better comparison is C. Ronaldo versus anyone his age. Don't you think? Unless you are questioning about their physical characteristics. That's different and definitely CRISTIANO WINS THE COMPETITION!
Also, as a player, he is already great and will be greater than Zidane in the future!

Zidane is better than Ronaldo ... no contest.
a striker will never ever be picked in a first team before a master midfield controller. Ronaldo doesnt have the tactical nous to be as good as Zidane, cant put the age thing on this either because Zidane has always been tactically brilliant. Off-field Zidane has done a lot for charities as well, he has never forgotten where he came from ......

God, please dont compare Cristiano Ronaldo to Zidane. He is not even close to Zidane. Zidane is great, on the pitch and off the pitch. He helped his team win the 1998 world cup, the euro cup 2000 and helped his team reach the 2006 world cup final.
Off the pitch, Zidane does loads of charity work for poor and disabled children which is great.
When Cristiano Ronaldo does all this, then ask this question.
Cristiano Ronaldo does have talent but off the pitch I never really heard of him doing charity work for children...
May be if Cristiano stops crying on the pitch to beg the referee to give out a red or yellow card and tries to work a bit harder he could be great, but never greater than Zidane.
Zidane got 14 red cards in his career, despite the 14 red cards people still call him a legend. Thoes red cards were never mentioned (except the last red card) only his talent and great ability on the pitch. World wide, people talk about him. Even those who are not fans of football talk about him.
Zidane is simply the best....

jm do u even understand soccer? 1st of all c ronaldo is not the ronaldo. answer this quetion now : Of course its zidane. Zidane won world footballer of the year and the world cup in 98 and c ron didnt. But will have 2 wait about 13 years for the real answer

If you mean Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo then you cant even compare the two because of the age difference.
If you meant Mohamed Zidan then, I wouldnt be able to really comment on that because I havent really seen much of Mohamed Zidan playing.

Well! ZIDANE is one of the true legends for France. He was the only captain to lead France into winning a WC. If in the finals he would not have lost his temper (i am not saying it was bad. he did it for the right reasons) he would have become a greater legend still he is and always will be classified as one of the greatest French Soccer players and he will always be in my top 20 retired players!
C.R on the other hand is not in my top 10 or 20 or even 100 because to be truthful i think he is kind of lame. All he can do like other Portuguese except Maniche is just dive on the ground and pretend to be hurt if the opponent gives him a friendly nudge. He and Rooney both play for Man.U. but u can see how he got Rooney sent off during England Portugal soccer match.
