Of course we do, otherwise there would be only 30 days in July instead of 31. Also, my son would have been born on the 6th July instead of the 5th if there was no 4th..............
Do you in the US have an April 1st..............

You're kidding, right? Let's see now. Let's go back to our elementary education and remember that the 4th of July celebrates our independence from Great Britain. Now can you answer your own question? If not, where are you from?

They have July 4th in every country of the world. Now if you are asking if they are celebrating July 4th as their Independence Day, no, they are not. The only countries that would celebrate the 4th of July as their indepedence day would be the United States, and other countries who celebrate their freedom on that date. For example, France celebrates their independence on 14 July, it is known as "Jour de Bastille" or Bastille Day. The French celebrate it - but it has no significance to the US, so we do not.

Tired old trick question. I'm surprised that you just heard it. The correct answer is "yes they do have July 4th in Great Britain. they just don't celebrate it."

They do have a 4th of July over there. I do not know why, but, I am thinking that they are celebrating the spirit of just watching fireworks in the air and gives them an excuse to take a holiday.
I mean, I know why we have it over here, to celebrate our freedom from the rule of the monarchy.
Maybe they are having it because they figure, maybe it was best that America is what it is and is celebrating that fact.

I wasn't there on July 4th so I don't know but I'm informed they've had one every year ever since the calendar was introduced to the island.
American independence is celebrated in the UK by American patriots who are in the UK and anyone else who is daft enough to join them and doesn't know that George III was not actually mad and was fighting a just cause.

Of course they do, the calendar is the same as that in the USA. If you are asking if they celebrate America's Independence Day on July 4, then the answer is no.

Of course. But there's nothing to celebrate. November 5th is the day we set off fireworks commemorating the attempted destruction of the Houses of Parliament by Guy Fawkes in 1605.
Burning a "guy" on top of a bonfire is another celebrated passtime on that day.
