I'm not homosexual but after all the shows ive seen on NICK and DISNEY channel i think thats pretty much offensive for those who are homesexual dont you think?

I think because the networks are hesitant to show any material that is too controversial. Homosexuality, even if it is exaggerated in a comedy like Will and Grace, is always a touchy subject. If a program uses homosexuality and there is a backlash, there is a chance some advertisers will remove their commercials and their money, which is what the studios want to begin with.

Dont Nick and Disney mainly cater to kids? i wouldnt want any sexuality on those channels let alone homosexuality.
I think the amount of shows with homosexual content is up and above the percentage of gay people to straight people in the general population. Why would you want more?

I've seen plenty of shows with homosexual content and/or people in them. If you're meaning shows that are mostly based on homosexual people, well there are a couple that come on pay cable, but it might be a few years before regular affiliates make them mainstream. Heh, mainstream homosexuality. Sounds like my conservative republican gay uncle...don't ask.

TV caters to the investors. The broadcasters have no responsibility other than making America watch their commercials. Television itself should not shape our ideas, but should be a reflection of them. Unfortunately many people allow group-think to take over their minds.

are u kidding u have Will & Grace and its on atleast a hundred times a week Heres a good Idea for a tv show its about the band Back Street Boy who spend all their money to buy waltons mountain from john boy and we call it

because the majority of the population sees that it is abnormal and do not agree w/ it being shoved in our faces. you could've asked why is there a lack of pedophilia in TV shows and it would be the same.
