He helped make fun of anyone and everyone, all religions, etc... and when they got to his religion he headed for the hills... Hypocritical because if that was such a big deal how could he do it to others first? Anyway, lost some respect there...

This is exactly what I thought when I heard he was leaving. But you can't really be too mad becasue he did give in some great episodes as Chef. The way that The Return of Chef episode was made shows that this is how Trey and Matt feel since they did kill him off gruesomely but they did have a good speech at the funeral of Chef that you could tell was really about Isaac and how he made a stupid mistake but they still appreciate the work he did.

Issac Hayes was brought in to draw a larger percentage of black viewers. He saw a chance to gain more money for his name. However, the money was not forthcoming. He used a bogus reason to leave South Park.

Isaac Hayes already passed away. I never watch South Park for the record.

I don't think he is a hypocrite for leaving South Park is they are making fun of HIS religion. That is his belief.

If you don't believe the other stuff, why would you stand up for it? For years Protestants make fun of Catholics and vice versa, Jewish, Muslim, The Church of The Latter Day Saints, Jehovas all off them are subject to ridicule.

Southpark was lucky enough to have him because his Chef help made the show and his name, gave them legitimacy.

Tom Cruise probably made him quit. You know those scientologists! Who knows? Maybe he just converted. His song about Kathie Lee was the best. Beefcake!

Oh he is a big hypocirite. And I am sure Chef would give him all sorts of s**t for doing it. But people who are brainwashed, you can't bring them back to reality.
