How stupid do you have to be to believe the line "no war for oil?"
This is a popular line used by the American left to discredit America, when they know full well the war efforts are not for oil. If they were, we would have actually taken the oil instead of giving it to the Afghani and Iraqi people. Does anyone actually believe it? If so, how stupid are they?

Well about as stupid as the people who actually think Georgie Boy has a brain . Example, about civilian deaths in Iran:

First of all, you can't "bring" democracy to anyone, anywhere. There has to be a society which is ripe for a change. If it isn't ripe enough, then you have a chaos and civil war (like now in Iraq).
You can buy Dali's or Picasso's painting to someone, but if that person is not interested in art, or doesn't understand it, it will not mean anything to her.

the united states have to give an excuse to why they are over there,you cant expect them to tell the truth,it wouldn't make sense.they also use the line support our troops when it really means you should not oppose having americans comming back in body bags.just support it and watch the number of dead rise.thats the way the people want it and thats the way the people got it.

Seems to me the people there don't want democracy. They're more used to dictators and war-lords running their lives. If that makes them happy let them have at it.
