i feel that way. as i get older, i cant seem to find a friend whom i can confide in without them changing their opinion of me. but at the same time friends that we know since young gets drift apart as we aged. why is that..

I think we drift apart because we are such a mobile society and jobs take us to the far reaches of the country and the world. As to older friends, maybe it's because some people get more opinionated as they age. Others become more open minded. In others words I don't know. I have found it easy to make friends through shared interests, in my case art. And continuing education in community colleges bring like minded people together. Time constraints are my problem for doing this but it's certainly worthwhile to try and locate a class or club that interests you.

I think it was easier to make friends when I was younger. But now that I'm a little older I meet people who are a better quality. It may not be as many but I I prefer quality over quantity. If they change their opinion about you after they became a trusted friend, then they were never a true friend from the beginning.

i think ur right.....most ppl r changin...my best friend is now my friend cuz she's trying 2 b popular and trying 2 get a bf. only a little bit of my friendz understand me
