It's easier if you buy the shoes before going on holidays.
The choice will be limited and depending on the size of your feet they not have your size.

i live in Luxor when i need to buy good shoes or dressing, i always go to Cairo or Alex. if there r no time then i can find it here around, so if u have enough time here in your stay at Luxor don't worry it can be managed easy.

Of course you can. There's plenty of market stalls selling everything from sweets to gold. After all, you're not climbing Everest are you........... Thing is though, you want a pair of sandles for the pyramid 'cos inside it is dangerously hot.

We have all kinds of things in here , but to be honest u might wanna befriend one of the natives to buy them for u to get a good deal .

The egyptian foot wear is more basic.
Foriegn made footware is imported so expensive.

Lidl have ggod boots in for £12.99
