Simple,
alcohol dehydrates your body.....
it causes your kidneys to send liquid to the bladder instead of back into the bloodstream... and even a small amount of alcohol can cause your body to lose up to four times its amount of water... you need to replenish that water supply.
Here's something I have found that really lessons hangovers -- for every two to three alcoholic drinks, have a water. Before you go to bed, drink a glass of water with a tylenol. Have a glass of water beside your bed so that you can have a drink as soon as you wake up.

I have experienced the same thing many times. Drinking alcohol in excess will dehydrate you. I also remember drinking so much water the next morning that I would feel drunk again.

Alcohol is a diuretic, which means it makes you pee!! If you come home after a binge, drink a big glass of water before bed to avoid hangovers.
A hangover is nothing more than a headache caused by dehydration.

processing alcohol dehydrates you. This is most of what a hangover is. It's your body feeling the effects of dehydration. If you want to feel better in the morning drink some water and Gatorade before you go to sleep. Also it would not hurt to drink a bottle of Gatorade before you go out drinking.

When you drink the alcohol drys out the brain. It is best to drink water at the same time you drink liquor. It re -hydrates the brain and there is usually no hangover. I use to be a veteran in drinking, so I know this.

Alcohol always makes me thirsty. When I get drunk I drink alot of water so it washes out the alcohol and prevents me from getting a hangover. I can't miss work, you know. My boss will kill me with a chainsaw!

Because alcohol dehydrates you just like sugary sodas and juices. The only thing that really and truly quenches your thirst is water. But make sure you don't drink water immediately after your drink because i've seen it make people throw-up.

alcohol makes you dehydrated - that's why you should always drink a lot of water when drinking, to avoid, or at least lessen, the hangover the next day.
