Stop imagining how things would be "if only." Pay attention to here and now! That's where the real rewards are. Train your awareness to focus on the present, and you'll see just how good your life is.

"If only" is as useless as "should have". Focusing solely on the present and disregarding your past, however, doesn't do much good either. You are the sum of your prior experiences. Understanding your past, learning from it, growing by reflecting on it in relation to your present and desired future... are pretty darn useful activities throughout life.

It may not be fair, but it is true!
if you keep imagining how things would be if only.. then you would miss what's going on right now!
you'll live your life on "if only"s..
you're always thinking .never acting!
you don't enjoy life! you're in a whole another world of yours calles "IF ONLY".
It's not fair! but you will ruin your life if you keep thinking and thinking about it.
So just live in the moment!

no, is not.

we deserve to fail. so we can learn from it.
we have chance to try anything, because we're an experimental creatures.
we have vision to imagine things, however we can't asure them it's the truth.
we must think about probability, so we have several ways to solve the problems.
we are human, we're not perfect.
if failness happen, and we realized it, then it's ok. because regret is not a sin.
no matter how hard we try to focusing on present, still we can't predict the future precisely, because we're not a God.

I think it is a very fair statement, and it is also a good way to look at life.

Hmmmm... it would seem to me that you're controlling yourself from assuming or anticipating what could possibly happen later if you only stick to here and now. I will not stop, but that doesn't mean I'd assume what's ahead every minute. That would be stupid. Do I make sense to you?

This applies while one is in happy mood!
While one is undergoing severe tension it won'tl apply very much!

Life is a nice foot ball field where you have grass lawn for fair play and brick bats for ruthless play.

It's always easier to give advice than to accept it. What would Yoda say? personally I prefer people who lead by their own example not their token words of wisdom. My grades in school were fair so I would say;" yep."

As a man think in his heart, so he is. We create our own environment. We are the architects of our reality. Prayer is being in touch with YOUR Holy God's Spirit, who KNOWS all. Answer to prayer is the birth of perfect alignment.
Simply said, of course

I agree with Paul present and future. hindsight is 20/20 but you still have to be aware of it so you do not repeat it but you are correct you cannot dwell on it. :-)
