The pirate, though burly and quite strong, has been caught unawares after a night of carousing. He doesn't have any of his weapons on him, but he's pretty wasted. The bear, of course, is a giant grizzly bear. He's hungry and he likes the smell of pirate. Who will win?

Oh how you spend your free time but your question did catch my attention. Well, the pirate, thought by story tellers to be fierce and strong, probably is weak after months aboard a rat infested ship. He is probably malnourished and has scurvy and will probably perish at the hands of a hungry bear. Not sure where he is going to find a grizzle in the Caribbean. But perhaps he could climb a tree to escape his predator.
Kingpin is right whenever we have been hiking in the woods my son would say he's not scarred of bears because he knows he can outrun his mom!

but back to you answer i would say if the pirate was alone superman would save him at the last min;
but if the pirate has a few of his crew with him i would say as long as the pirate outruns one person hes ok for at least another day; hope that help you ;
just remember if you are on a camping trip with your family an a big hungry bears shows up all you have to do is out run 1 person good luck

The bear. If the pirate wasn't drunk he may have had more senses about him and might have thought his way out of this.
And since the bear is hungry this makes it a whole lot worse. So the bear will have his pickled pirate.

the duck would definitly win, the duck has more power and strength than any grizzley or pirate. so i would say the duck eats them both up and rules the world.
