I ordered an Alias poster (w/ pic of Jennifer Garner on it) and havent told my family yet. How should I tell them? They know I'm obsessed with the show but I don't want them to think I'm nuts. I'm 18 years old (straight) and relatively conservative when it comes to women. So this is kind of unusual for me. I don't want my little brother to make fun of me, as he usually does.

Dude, if you didn'talready have posters in your room your parents might have already been concerned with your lack of "normal" teenage behavior. You putting this poster up might be a releif fo them.

You are 18 and it is nothing but normal for an 18 year old to do something like this so why not? And who cares what your brother thinks tell him you are paving the way for him in his future....my daughter was crazy about Orlando Bloom when she was 9 and had posters up...doesn't mean anything.....Please for god sack act your age...your not going to be 18 for ever......enjoy your life.

It's just a poster. It isn't going to be life changing. You bought the poster because you like the show.

Why did you order it? Sounds a bit obsessive like you can't control yourself especially at 18- if you're this tied up about a TV actress AND what your family thinks, you should seek some sort of counseling- at 18, you're an ADULT!

Dude, just get the poster, and when they asked, tell them you liked the show and got the poster. I got the LOST poster and Desperate Housewives. Only, because they were throwing it out at my work. Who give a **** what they think. It's YOUR money!!!
