I have seen it and it was very good. Worth watching, but kinda long.

I saw it recently. A decent enough movie, basically Romeo and Juliet set in a different area. James Franco plays Tristan, he was also in Spiderman as Harry Osborn. I thought he was just okay in Spiderman so I went into Tristan + Isolde expecting a mediocre performance. He managed to pull though alright with a great supporting cast.
imdb.com has it listed as 7.0 out of 10 and since that is a user based score I tend to believe them.
Make sure you have some tissues handy though!

It drags along in places it shouldn't and it leaves the viewer wanting more. I liked it because of the books on the subject, being that, was it's only chance as a movie
but it could have been done much better. Not quite as captivating as it could have been. It was like watching two very boring anticlimactic people meet on a beach and have an affair... Big deal!
