The twins are keeping busy, currently the movie 'Factory Girl' is in post-production (starring Mary-Kay only). It's the only film with just one of the sisters starring without the other.
As the sisters grow older and mature in their style, there has been greater interest in their fashion choices. The New York Times declared Mary-Kate a fashion icon for pioneering her signature "homeless" look.
Both Mary-Kate and Ashley have been tapped as the faces of upscale fashion line Badgley Mischka.

They have a cosmetic and clothing line now to add to their empire. Their parents really invested their childhood money well for them.
Both have suffered some personal setbacks since the movie business dried up. I know they started making DVD's that were being released straight to the stores, but that faded too.

they dont have to act to earn money any more. believe it or not they are worth hundreds of millions of dollars. they have a company that markets their name. they produce tv shows, movies, have a line of clothing, dolls,all kinds of kids products with thier pictures on it.
i am not exagerating about the $100M's. they are among the wealthiest celebrities. they are in the category with oprah, speilburg, cruise, etc.
personally, i dont care for them, but children do. and the children's parents spend a LOT.

i heard that they signed Dylan and cole from the suite life of zack and cody to produce a magazine for twin boys.

They still do movies and stuff! They also get paid to make apperances places and ect.
