Well if your sound card supports 5.1, then just buy some 5.1 surround sound speakers and hook them up. If not, then buy a new sound card that supports 5.1 and then buy the speakers and hook them up.

well u should also add wat ur desktop computer sound card supports, that is, if it is 5.1 channel or above u'll need a 5.1 channel speakers to hook 5.1 surround sound into ur pc.
