all political parties of all nations are guilty of this. they do it because they think it works. they underestimate and insult the intelligence of the general public. i don't know why they haven't figured out that spreading "mythinformation" is not working and that they might as well be honest about matters.

The republicans invented it. Listen to there speeches they constanly tie IRAQ in with the war on Terror so people believe there is a contection between the two when in reality at least at the begining there was none.
