on a cold day when its pouring with rain outside, you sat on the sofa with a duvet, watching a chick flick, and a mug of hot choc?

Not for me! I have had enough of the rain, i live in the south. I would rather have myself snowed in, where i didn't have to go to work. And then bake cookies and make hot chocolate and sit down to a good movie.

At night during a bad thunder storm with the rain pelting down on the corrigated iron roof and your in a nice warm bed with the duvet pulled right up

I think being at a festival with your chosen friends and a few you have just met, listening to your favourite music or band, with the sun beat-ting down on the back of your neck, a nice cold drink (alcoholic or not) and a randomness of conversation.... now that's the best thing ever! Or at least by my standards.
Mind you having read some of the other answers they're quite appealing too!

I think sitting on a covered porch with a chick around your arm and your cats cowering under the wicker love seat while a ferocious and beautiful thunderstorm provides the entertainment trumps anything dealing with the phrase "chick flick" in it.
But alas, I am a libertarian, so to each their own!

Being out in the countryside, on the back of a horse, whatever the weather!
In fact, it's better when it's raining because you get the place to yourself and can gallop like mad without worrying that you will splatter some fair weather towny day-trippers around the next bend.

It sure does sound devine, But definitly lying in bed and hearing the pounding of rain, Thunder, and ligtning is a very nice way to enjoy a day off, especially, if you have lots of fluffy pillows and a warm and cozy comforter.

definalty the best thing...especially when the curtains are closed...and the lights are off and some nice scented candles are lit and you can hear the rain poundin of the window outside.....i always sleep better too when its pouring down outside...strange isnt it
