Please let me know what the process is for just having what I want on the iPod video and leaving the rest in the iTunes. It may be very easy but I just haven't figured it out. Help appreciated.

I want to be able to keep what I've paid for. Couldn't I just choose what to put in the iPod and just leave the rest on the iTunes?

make a playlist on your itunes
and in that playlist add all the songs u dont want to have on ur ipod at that time and then delete them from your library
then hook up ur ipod and have it connect and it will add only the songs in ur library that u want
