Pride is a problem here. Are you embarrassed too? This could be why you are having a problem. Also guilt? You won't feel right around her until you take the intuitive and say your sorry. Women respect men for doing that and it makes you a better man in her estimation.

I think it is normal to find it difficult to apologize. But practicing it and paying attention to others who apologize well and using them as role models helps. I don't like to use the word "sorry" to apologize. Just walk confidently up to whoever you think you might have wronged and tell them you apologize, then learn from your mistake and don't repeat it so if you find yourself having to apologize again, later, it won't be for the same thing. People who are secure with themselves find it easier to apologize and I promise you that if you simply apologize and go on, don't wallow in apologizing, you will be respected for it.

it is normal for some people to say sorry it is called pride you have to let that pride go and just say it!

try gulping down your pride, and thinking about how saying sorry will help things cool down and she will forgive easier.
or tell her your difficulty. then, when you don't say sorry, she won't have anything against you.
