Unfortunately, most of Scotland is cold and wet all year, so it ranks as one of the worst places to live. Why do you think most young people leave when they finish school?

I have lived here for 30 years and hoping to return south of the border for some heat, hospitality, friendship and to be treated as a human being. Yes, I know its my own fault for staying in a country were the English are despised for simply being English, but I always thought I would find someone who could see through that nonsense. Still waiting. scotland the best place to live????

It depends on where you mean becauae there are many different faces to Scotland. From the beauty and splendour of Glencoe and Loch Lomond, the Angus Glens, the Borders. And then on the other hand you have the filth and degradation of traffic- choked Aberdeen. So it all depends. Life is not black and white, neither is Scotland.

Yes its beautiful but Hawaii has better weather, scenery, food and a more exotic mix of girls. Of course we are almost completely lacking in HAGGIS.
