1024 kilobytes = 1 megabyte, so, 500 megabytes = 512,000 kilobytes. You internet connection is more than likely 5 mbps down/256 up, not sure over there. I have 5 mbps down/762 Kbps up. Just ask your ISP what your "up" and "down" is for your internet connection. The down is your download speed, and the up is your upload speed.

Well, technicaly, 500*1024 = 512,000 kb, but its probably closer to 500,000 anyway... with the whole noise and LLAAAAGG kinda stuff...

YOU JUST GOT 500 MBS ? .. that means not a movie even .. NEVER try to download large files ( More than 5 mbs ) Or you wont be able to Browse pages even
