My friend and I tried out for a competitive softball team and I made it but she didn't. What should I do?

First..Congratulations! Second.. both of you will learn a valuable lesson from this. The coach or team that you tried out for probably had some guidelines as for what they were looking for. Not that your friend is not a good player, but the skills they were looking for were found in you and unfortunately not her.

She should be happy for you! What you could do is ask to talk to the coach and ask some fact finding questions about why she was not chosen. Don't be argumentative, but ask what skills she would need to work on if she did try out again in the future.

You're by her side and I think she'll appreciate it.

Batter up! Good Luck!

is she any good??? just tell her that the coach is stupid and that he or she doesn't know what she or he is doing. I had two friends who went to empire estate games (whci h are like a mini olympics for new york) anyways one girl made it and the other didn't and the girl who didn't won the best player of the year, so coaches aren't always right.
