I have an HP Laserjet 1100 that feeds from above. For some reason, I must feed one page at a time or it gets jammed. Someone said it might be a setting within the software. Anyone have this problem or know the solution? Thanks.

maybe your feeding paper more than the possible capacity for your printer feeder. try to put 10 pages and see if it'll get jammed or not.
try also to clean up the roller and it might also could be from the paper .. maybe its not dried thats why its pulling many papers at a time

It sounds like the feeder rollers are dirty, a very common problem with TOP FEED printers. With the feed on TOP dust and such can easily accumulate.
