Clinton did have his faults But those involved his personal life As president I thought he did a very good job He turned a huge deficit around and made it into a surplus He did not piss off better than 1/2 of the rest of the world and was right on track in trying to promote a National Health Care Program Yes the thing with Monica hurt him But then again that was involving his personal life which really did not need to be made public . Other presidents have had affairs not just him Washington and Jefferson had sexual relations with their slaves Kennedy was a womanizer But were Any of them impeached because of it? Hell no1 So willie got a B.J. Who cares? It did not affect his leadership abilities. If any president should get Impeached it should be Bush for all the lies he has told us concerning our reasons for being in Iraq Spying on our own people without a warrant and thinking he is above the laws of this country just because he is the president of it.

Yes, he wiped out an out of control defecit made by priors. Bush has created the all time highest defecit. Clinton could end a war in a matter of hours, Not years. All Bush is, is a warmonger Just like his father was. Clinton lives by the constitution, Bush ignores it and abuses his power. And if you want to know why petroleum prices are out of control. Just do a little research on his Buisnesses. How he makes HIS money!!! Clinton may have smoked a little pot in college, got a B.J. on the side, But he didn't act like the anti-christ that Bush is acting like. We need a new leader like Clinton in office. Maybe Hillary?

He was an above average president unfortunatly he was followed by one of our worst so most of his good work has been undone. As far as terroism goes read richard clarkes book who worked for bush senior, clinton and W. Clinton did alot on terrorism that the neocons deny and his administration on the way out warned bush that it would take up more of there time than anyother issue but was ignored by the bushies. Those who still blame Clinton for not doing enough on terrorism I don't here you blaming Reagan for not doing enough when hundreds of our soliders were killed in beirut we just cut and ran then.

i imagine bush senior describe his action suited, " You spoil it, you own it" Why did Bush senior no longer invade after prevailing the gulf warfare ? Saddam replaced into defenseless. Clinton DID drop more effective than 2000 tomahawk missiles into Iraq which made him to conform to the U.N. WMD inspections. mission executed -- coverage of Containment. Which approach is more effective acceptable; === Clinton: 2000 missiles to do the job. === or Bush: 3 - 5 trillion money of taxpayers' money for the warfare and rebuilding the country that is going to be antagonistic to us contained in the destiny 3000 lifeless GIs and 60,000 amputees. Making Iraq a terrorist breeding floor. which recommendations sound more effective acceptable ?

Maybe not one of our greatest, but a damned good one. His legacy is tarnished because of the impeachment nonsense and people don't realize how much he really accomplished. Just compare his record with the one of the fool who followed him, Twig, and you could say he was one of the greatest. I'd put him in the Top 15, maybe Top 10......on the other hand, Twig is the worst in history. What a difference a few years makes!!!

I believe he was a good president, not the best. I remember things being a whole hell of a lot better when he was in charge. I can't believe there are people blaming Bush's mistakes on him. Give me a break, seriously.

8 years of peace and prosperity. He had the highest IQ and was the best-educated. Gas was 96 cents a gallon at Arco. We had the greatest budget surplus in history. (Now we have record debt.) The man just liked women and cheeseburgers a little too much.
