I haven't asked any, but I've answered a few. I used to be a nurse, and God knows I have my share of illnesses that I can try to explain to people. ( Depression, anxiety, fibro myalgia..... )
But I will always tell people to see their doctor also, because I am NOT one.
I think some people are just so desperate for some kind of help, whether it's physical or mental, they use the closest thing possible ( Yahoo! Answers ) to try to get any kind of help at all. They may not have a GP, as many people don't have health insurance these days,
It's the people that tell others to go ahead and kill themselves and get it over with, or some other idiotic answer that I hate to see.
You just never know who is serious or not. But I try to answer to the best of my knowledge, or will look things up for people using Yahoo! Search for them. Maybe they don't know how to do it ?
I also believe that there are some that just need some to talk to,. I suppose it's at least SOME type of " therapy " for them. And, if there's someone that thinks they can help, maybe through personal experience, why not try to help?

After spending six months on here the therapy hasn't worked lass. The NHS are gonna have to spend thousands sorting my head out from this site.
Doctor Dodds is the main culprit. I don't know whether i'm Bungle, George, Zippy, Jeffrey, Rod, Jane or Freddy.

I always look up the internet before I see my GP. You'd be surprised how much I've taught him! Worrying, isn't it?

not me i go to my doctor i like a answer i can trust
i know people mean well and some will be right
but there is no one better than your doctor to sort out your problem

Not me I am never ill I live a healthy Naturist life. I don't even know who my doctor is.

Haha, I like being the one to give crummy advice and see what people actually believe it. I love how you can just say whatever you want online and nobody knows how serious you are.

Lol maybe once or twice.....the rash and burning stopped so I didnt have to.....and the swelling went down

not me. i might ask on here if it wasn't a serious illness. but if it was then i trust my Dr more than a load of strangers who Ive never met.
