If its wrong to attack all Msulims for what a minority of them have done?

Why does it seem ok to attack all Westerners for what a minority of Westeners have done??

We Westerners (I'm British not American before anyone starts) are not all politicians. We are not all in the army. We are not all. We do not all support Israel. Many of us don't even support Bush and Blair (the Stop the War Rallies in the UK?)

So why are Muslims on one hand saying it wrong for us to attack them all for what some of their brothers have done and then in the same breathe saying that Western Civillians deserve to die because of what some Westerners have done? Isn't that just hypocrisy?

I'm muslim and I live in the UK, and you would be suprised to know that I do not attack all westerners and generalise them all, actually I am quite happy that how many westerners speak up when something unjust in the West happens. I would personally speak up if anybody did anything unjust be they eastern, western, muslim or not!! Doesn't make a difference, wrong is always wrong. FULL STOP!!

Yes, innocent Muslims do say that it's wrong of Westerners to attack them because of what a minority of Muslims have done, but they also say that it's wrong for that minority of Muslims to attack innocent Westerners for what a minority of Westerners have done.

OK it is wrong to attack all Muslims for what some have done. I think more Muslims need to say that what their people have done is wrong. This is why westerners condemn Muslims. We have problem seeing good Muslims when they don't condemn bad. Also not all Muslims are terrorists but all terrorists are Muslim.

Hypocrisy, yes. Why aren't more Muslims speaking out about there brothers that murder innocents? As you said Western Civilizations are expressing myriad positions on this whole scene yet there seems to be a hemogenous philosophy from the Muslims.

Both are wrong, but that doesn't then make it right for us to treat Muslims the way we are. We have to rise above the conflict and show that we aren't the way they claim we are. If we continue to persecute Muslims for the acts of a few, it makes those few look right; regardless of what the actual facts are. We have to show that we support all people.

the koran states that extremism is againt their faith. many muslims refuse to speak out against these 'extremist' muslims because they are denouncing a key teaching of the koran, esentailly being un-muslim.

If you look at the recent terrorist atacks on western countries, you will se that is is nothing like the scale of the problems caused by our countries in predominantly muslim ones.....the 2 gulf wars and afganistan to name as few examples. we were atacking honest muslims for what some wannabe-muslims were doing.....that is what is wrong!

well i have been ponderning over this isuue, ve al know taht all muslims are not terrosit but all terrorist are muslims. Y???????? n the recent trend shows it is not the downtrodden, uneducated, poor muslims who r the jhehadis (as they call themselves) but educated and working. So wat makes them do wat they do........... will ve alwayz live in terror, will error be the way of life in this world. it is wrong to blame the westernners, evn he western society has their own haves n haves not, evrybody is not reeking in wealth n happiness, world over the socal structure is the same. What Jt said, AND we are not attacking all Muslims, we are freeing and giving lots of money to Iraqis and are friends with the UAE,Egypt,Qatar, etc etc. Muslims who behave responsibly get respect and fair treatment even friendship. We are not attacking Muslims we are attacking grown-up children freaks.

Are you saying that all Muslims are saying that Western civilians desere to die? That would be far from true. I guess then there are people on both sides who are wrong.
