You can buy undershirts that will wick sweat away from your body so you feel cooler.
The brand name is UnderArmour, I believe. They sell it at Walmart, too, for much cheaper, under a different name.
Stick to light colors and loose weave clothing, so you will feel cooler.
Wear a floppy wide brimmed hat in the sun to keep your head cooler.
They have little portable battery operated fans at Walmart that might help.
You also might try spritzing yourself with a water filled spray bottle.

the lab-coat I'm using in labs it's made of cotton and it's cooler than others.. but if you have to work in the heat it's impossible for a person to stay fresh it's better stay safe.. but assure that it's a well ventilated area
