I dont understand most scenes of the movie
Characters and time shift suddenly, how can i understand this movie?

It's a DAVID LYNCH movie. Even if you saw or read HIS idea of what the movie was about, it still might not make sense. But I love him. You just have to agree to go along for the ride. He's not the kind of director who is going to circle, underline, and point arrows: "this is the message". It's more aboiut what you think, feel, react. You and me both. In fact, if you've noticed, David Lynch's movies are too crazy too understand.
