Depends on what you mean by "calls you often", I mean once a day is enough. Can be off putting if you call all the time and keep doing alot of displays of love....some people find it a bit stifling. Also it doesn't give him the chance to do something for you.

I guess I'd feel drowned. Too much love can be just overwhelming. Yeah she loves me but I can't stand too much attention, especially if I don't give any loving the same way she gives to me. Hope that helps.

Blokes look at the world differently!, to him, it might be a case of being glad that he doesn't have to make all the moves for once (a nice change!)
He might be at a different point in the relationship, being comfortable with the situation - talk to him about it!

i would rather she did than not at all, as long as it was not tooo much she was calling. Try and let him do some of the planning too though.
