contrary to what you might think, bleach can actually cause either a yellowish or grayish discoloration to whites. Use a product called Mrs. Stewart's Liquid Bluing in the wash per the directions on the bottle. It brings them back to a nice bright white.

epidermis "whitening" products are really merely epidermis tone evening products, soothing out epidermis tones. they're no longer actual bleaching the exterior white. maximum folk could under no circumstances use any such ingredient. Whitening is likely honestly one of the incorrect word for a large type of the products. they're meant to even out the exterior tone.

Iron OUt is good (it stinks but it does work) be careful not to breath fumes.. You can get it at any hardware store, (lowes) soak cloths in it over night. (whites only).
I use Oxiclean alot. I soak all my whites over night in it. Its great.
What the others said about Clorine bleach is correct. I never use it. It will yellow and break down fibers fast.
The sun is great for bleaching...Hang in sun then rewash. This is the way they did many years ago for whites
