Three Pitchers have done it, Roger Clemens did it twice, Randy Johnson did it in nine innings of an extra inning game, and my boy Kerry Wood did it in !998, I went to the next game he pitched that year against Arizona Diamondbacks, and he struck out 17 more in seven innings! That is a record for back to back games.

That one was Roger Clemens twice.
But if your asking how many pitchers have pitched A 20 strikeout game, it's 4.
-Roger Clemens pitched 20 strikeout 9 inning games twice for Boston on April 29, 1986(against Mariners) and September 18, 1996 (against Tigers)
-Kerry Wood pitched a 20 strikeout 9 inning game for Cubs on May 06, 1998 (against Astros)
-Randy Johnson had 20 strikeouts for Diamondbacks in a 11 inning game (even though he only pitched 9 innings) on May 08, 2001 (against Reds)
-Tom Cheney had 21 strikeouts for Washington in a 16 inning game (he pitched all 16 innings) on September 12, 1962

Im pretty sure Randy Johnson Has 1nce Roger Clemens 2 times and then once by Kerry Wood.

i can only think of 3 or 4. I know clemens did it first and then i think there has been maybe 2 since then.
