If they are outdoors, there may not be much you can do. If they are indoors in great numbers, you need to find where they are gaining entry and plug it up. Remember the old fly strips? They may look ugly, but the work pretty well. Use them indoors if needed until you get the situation under control.

First, identify the type of fly you are having a problem with. Then look for the source. Garbage? Dog poop? Dead animal under house?? Remove the source! Find out if it is Cluster flies, these are parasites of earth worms. . . .look for ways to seal up your house to keep this type of fly out!

If and when you get a good answer to this will you please let me know what it is and what you are doing to get rid of them.. I have the same problem and they are driving me crazy.. I have ugly fly stips hanging all over my house and they still keep coming..
